Arsenal's move for Jamie Vardy could collapse unless it is completed before the start of Euro 2016 on Friday, according to the Daily Express.

The Gunners triggered the Leicester City striker's £20 million release clause on Friday but the move could fall through unless discussions are accelerated.

Arsenal are keen to complete the deal before the Euros in case Vardy's value increases following some positive performances for England, which would likely see other clubs join the race for his signature.

  Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Edinson Cavani after the striker reportedly signed a bumper new contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Cavani has penned a fresh deal with the French champions which will see him stay at the Parc des Princes until 2020, report Sky Italia. The Uruguayan has been linked with a move to the Emirates as Arsene Wenger looks for goals to end the club's Premier League title drought.
